Will its that time again, right now i am getting ready to go and get the travel trailer ,wlox says expect 4 to 6 foot surge on top of a 2 to 5 foot tide that will put our travel trailer under water .i will be headed down to night after work and hope its not to later .has any one gone to lafrance today .i hope the road is still passable by in the morning . we should get down there around 9 pm are so...

headed out this evening to go check out the farm in alabama we have premission to hunt......freakin pumped and hoping not to disappointed which of course is a definite possibility. Not leaving till around 7 this evening bc of basketball practice.....if we didnt have our first game monday and still have so much to do before we are ready I would cancel practice today and try to get out early but gotta work a little first i guess....if you call playing basketball work anyway.

We left Wiggins on Thursday October the 8th for the long drive (1600 miles) to Newcastle Wyoming for our first antelope hunt together. Weather sucked, blowing hard and raining. All fish caught drifting bays with the wind, artificials under a popping cork.

Final Tally:

20 nice speckled trout, all 16" +

2 redfish, with (1) right around 28"

1 flounder

My buddy Gus and I decided to see if we could find some White Trout. We found 40. Actually he found about 30, I found maybe 10. I can't understand it...fishing side by side in the same hole from the same boat. There just ain't no explaining it. Fiddin' ta saute some of these up wit some cheese grits on the side and get ready to watch the Saints beat Atlanta. Dee-lish!
