Hey guys and gals; I am taking a little time to give all of you a report on the Wyoming antelope hunt my wife and I just returned from. We left Wiggins on
Thursday October the 8th for the long drive (1600 miles) to Newcastle Wyoming for our first antelope hunt together. I have been hunting in Wyoming since the
early 90's but this was the first time my wife made the trip. We spent several weekends getting her geared up and comfortable with shooting her .257
Roberts. We arrived in Newcastle...

Could not make it to the camp friday night so I went up saturday afternoon in time to hunt. My fiance wanted to go with me so i went on this huge field on a
powerline. I set her up in the house stand with a small set of binoculars and I got in a chain on just across the field. We had a doe and 2 yearlings come
out and stayed 105 yds away feeding, As it got closer to dark I seen a deer walking down the powerline and here comes a nice looking buck, appeared to be an
8 pt. While I am...

Lets just say the deer survived another week. I apparently picked the wrong spot to be. Set in the stand 4 times and did not see a deer. I did see several
hens, squirrels, coons, dove and a red fox. Too bad there is always next weekend. Hunted over some clover fields where I had gotten some good pictures.
Anyway in probably 2-3 weeks the white oaks will be plentiful on the ground and I will change my plan of attack. Dalilman needs to get on here and tell you

were biting....for her. I messed around and only caught one bass, though it was the biggest one we landed. I dont know what happened but the more I would
miss a fish the harder I would set the hook. Anyway we brought back to the camp 5 nice bass all easily over 1 lb and 1 nice bream. Sunday morning As daylight

my 444 out on one of those but they did not cooperate. My mom on the otherhand dropped the hammer on a 17 3/8 in inside spread 8pt at 10:00 Friday mornin. We
weighed the deer in at 155 lbs, but this deer had been rutting hard and had very little if any fat left on him. The body has scrapes and his ears have holes

climbed down, ran over to him where he helplessly watched him make a couple last attempts to crawl out of the swift current. Of course, he got sucked down and
was never seen again. Said he was a fine buck too. Gotta be a heartbreak. I gotta think I would have probably at least thrown him a rope hopin maybe he

raining still but I ventured out just as it was slacking off about 9 am. On my way to my climber I kicked up 4 deer... dont know what they were just seen
