i looked at tropical storm Ida yesterday and saw it going into Honduras and the rest of that peninsula and didnt think much else of it....then today I went in the office and all the women in there were watching the weather channel starting the usual pre-hurricane freak out and was wondering why they were getting fired up about it......then saw what they were looking at......although small it did make it to a 75mph hurricane.....ok so what its still in Central America....well then i saw the...

Does anyone know anything about trawling for shrimp . i have a 16 foot net with boards and don't know jack about how to catch shrimp, are for that matter how to rig it to the boat .i have a recreational shrimp license and want to learn but don't want to sink my boat are destroy my net any help out there.

grandpa went and picked us up some shrimp this morning to put up and man are they some fine shrimp. really nice...not sure what the count was but they are perfect for frying or boiling. only told him to get me 20 pounds but wish I would have gotten 50 when i saw them and especially for the price....$2 a pound and of course caught last night. so took a little time this evening and got them all peeled and put most in the freezer for the camp but of course had to keep enough for a couple...

Missing Men off coast of Texas found ALIVE!!!

Just saw on the news where the three guys missing off the coast of Texas were found drifting 180nm south of Sabine, Texas. atop their capsized 23ft Sea Chaser Catamaran. They had been missing for 8 days and the Coast Guard had already called off the search when they were found Saturday by a 75ft fishing vessel.
